Arcadia UV400 Sunglasses
The Arcadia Sunglasses feature a soft, classic cat-eye shape with slim acetate frames. Available in a translucent brown frame with brown gradient lenses or a glossy black frame with dark grey lenses, both styles offer UV400 protection.
UV400 indicates that a lens blocks 99% to 100% of harmful UV radiation up to 400nm.
It is the highest standard of UV protection for consumer eyewear.
Lens category 2 indicates that a lens provides good protection against sunglare and good UV protection.
Lens category 3 indicates that a lens provides high protection against sunglare and good UV protection.
Polarised lenses reduce intense reflected glare from surfaces such as roads and water, improving clarity and reducing eye strain in bright conditions.
Our brown lens isn’t as dark as our grey lens, which is why the two fall under different lens categories. Our brown ‘Shoal’ and ‘Bay’ styles are polarised to significantly reduce glare. All of our lenses are UV400.
Not for direction observation of the sun. Not for protection against artificial light sources e.g. solaria. Not for use as eye protection against mechanical impact hazards. Not suitable for driving in twilight or at night.
